Avril Lavigne is quite the controversial dresser. With her black on black and rock ‘chick’ edge, she’s hardly the poster girl for high couture, however the popstar launched her clothing range ‘Abbey Dawn’ over three years ago now, but is currently reviving the collection again and she even has plans to showcase the collection at the prestigious New York fashion week.

She recently appeared at Pure Nightclub where she showcased the collection at an after party at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on August 23rd. At the nightclub launch, Avril revealed her feelings about the range to PEOPLE, saying: “I’ve done a fashion show there before and it’s, like, kind of a really big deal. Heels, footwear. And now I have men’s stuff so it feels complete. It’s my brand, it’s my baby. It’s the first time its a full collection of everything, outside of clothing. There are so many different categories. It’s something I’m really proud of. It’s a lot of fun having a clothing line.”

The Abbey Dawn fashion show is set to be revealed at New York Fashion week on September 12th at 6pm at Style 360-Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. To find out more about the Abbey Dawn clothing range, visit AbbeyDawn.com
