Rita Ora has trodden the path of her ‘Wifey’ Cara Delevigne in landing a modelling contract with DKNY, who Cara has previously modelled for.

Rita Ora looks incredible as she steps out in the latest DKNY gear for her photo shoot. This isn’t Rita’s first fashion photo shoot, here on StyleClone we also documented her rise to modelling for Madonna’s Material Girl brand.

After Rita and Cara hosted a DKNY artwork launch in London last month, it seemed clear in what direction Rita was headed, and so soon after Wifey Cara’s modelling stint with the fashion house for DKNY’s Autumn Winter 13 ads.

The singer revealed the time and location of the photo shoot in a tweet inviting fans to come along: “Good morning. Hitting the gym then we do a HUGE photo shoot in the middle of Times Square! Come and say hi! 12pm! It’s going down!!”

Rita got to showcase some incredible pieces by DKNY, including a sheer lace panelled maxi skirt, a sequinned mini dress and thigh high leather boots, all finished off with her signature, London cool style, with a baseball cap thrown in for good measure.

This lady definitely knows how to take an outfit and make it her own, which she also did by injecting her fun personality into the photos, messing around and jumping up on top of the iconic yellow taxi cab.

After the event Ora told her followers on Twitter: “Thank you bots for coming out!! Today was awesome you always crack me up! Didn’t even feel like work I love you! More then you’ll ever know… #DKNY #NYCNights #TimesSquare”

It looks like Rita is really starting to enjoy her burgeoning modelling career, and it seems the two fun loving friends are both bound for success.
