In the UK it is A-Level results day today! For those of you stateside unfamiliar with A-Levels, the results determine whether our studious UK youngsters will get a place at University or College. So all you UK people, whether you have already got your results or waiting to get them we wish you all the luck today as it can certainly be testing time for us all!
However, to dedicate today to results day we thought we would give you a rundown of some of our brainy stylish celebs who have managed to earn themselves to fantastic A-Level grades:
1. Lily Cole
Known for her modelling career and doll like features, Lily Cole also has the brains to match. This Lily Cole got herself a whole handful of A-grade A-Levels. She got As in all of her subjects; English, politics, drama, history and philosophy and ethics. This summer it was reported that Lily Cole was awarded a double first class degree in History of Art at the prestigious UK university, Cambridge.
2. Emma Watson
Emma Watson, best known for her role in Harry Potter star gained As in all three of her subjects; English literature, Geography and Art. Â Her fantastic A-Level grades have managed to secure her a place in at one of the UK top universities, Oxford, where she will study English.
3. Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton, hasn’t let her royalty get to her head as she managed to earn two As and B at A-Level, which compared to Prince William, which got an A, B and C at A-Level is definitely better.  However, Kate Middleton has been criticised in for her English writing ability when her letter which she sent 3 years ago to Wimbledon officials was scrutinised for her her spelling and grammar.
4. Geri Helliwell
Geri Halliwell is best known for her singing career with the Spice Girls as Ginger Spice, however Girl bands have always been perceived and uneducated, however this can’t be said for Miss Helliwell as she has a A-grade is English!
5. Kate Beckinsdale
Our sexy Brit actress, Kate Beckinsdale has A-Levels in Russian, German and French.  She attended Oxford University (New College) studying French and Russian literature for 3 years. As a teenager she was a two-time winner of the W.H. Smith Young Writers’ competition for her short stories and poems. Is also fluent in French, German and Russian.
