It is no doubt that whenever there is a big fashion event or show, Alexa is straight at the front row. The model turned TV presenter has brushed arms with a whole host of famous designers and now after all the schmoozing and partying, Alexa is about to get stuck into some fashion presenting work again.

Alexa Chung is to star in US fashion reality show called ’24-Hour Catwalk’. The show places designers against each other, in which Alexa is the host of the programme.  Rob Sharenow, the show’s producer has high expectations for the show and is positive that this will be a great addition to the already fascination of reality TV fashion, “The thing that is happening now in fashion culture is that every character and subset of skill is being explored, and there is going to be great shows coming out of that.”

However, it isn’t the first time Alexa has brushed herself against the US TV market. She tried her hand at the MTV show “It’s On With Alexa Chung”, which later flopped after two series. However more recently she was involved in a show called ‘Thift America’ which explored the flea markets, second hand shops and garage sale of America to try and find some thrift purchases. This is due to air this autumn in the US and I can expect it to be very popular especially with the current economic downturn so we will have to watch this space.
