The UK is in a frenzy. Not only is the most powerful man in the world in the country, but he’s also brought his fashionable wife along with him, leaving all fashion lovers in a tizz about what the first lady has been wearing over the past few days.

On Tuesday, the president and his wife, Michele Obama, were invited to Buckingham Palace to meet the Royal family. Pictures of them meeting the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have already surfaced, but it was the pictures of Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama deep in conversation, that really got people interested.

What could two of the world’s biggest fashion icons possibly be talking about? How about the fact that Kate Middleton’s bandage Reiss ‘Shola’ dress sold out in under an hour and crashed the Reiss website or how about the fact that sales of the J.Crew company have sky-rocketted are Michelle Obama claimed to be a huge fan?

Whatever it was they were talking about, at least they were looking stylish while they were doing it. As already mentioned, Kate Middeton wore a camel coloured bandage Reiss ‘Shola’ dress, while the first lady opted for feminine pink cropped jacket which she wore over a floral print Barbara Tfank Resort 2011 dress. The original dress comes with a bow on the waist which Michelle chose to disregard for a plain band. She teamed the dress with metallic kitten heels.
