Blogger Style: Nurul From ‘I Love Looking Good’

Another installment of Blogger Style means another Fashionista to introduce to you! Meet the lovely Nurul, one half of the fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog ‘I Love Looking Good‘ that she writes with her husband. The blog focuses mainly on style, but also gives an insight into married life having only wed last year.

Nurul’s style is a mix of classic pieces and funky, feminine shapes. Think simple basics teamed with floaty tops, floral prints and cute accessories.

I’ve chosen to recreate a look that Nurul posted before Christmas here, because I love the different shapes and layers she has put together.

Nurul wears a long vest by M)phosis, an asymmetrical dress from Robot Ninjas, a long sleeve black tee from Cotton On, Topshop leggings and boots by New Look. She has accessorised with a Magnifique Closet shawl, a belt from The Little Things She Needs and a Tote from Agnes B.

To recreate this look, first start off with a simple long sleeved black tee and some basic black leggings. Next, layer on an asymmetric hemmed skirt or dress that comes just below the calf at the longest side. Over this, add a grey toned v neck tunic that comes higher up the leg to reveal the asymmetric hem underneath. Cinch the waist in with a chunky zip up belt, and slip on some flat boots in black. Finish off with a black tote bag and away you go! Be sure to keep the colour palette simple as there are lots of layers and shapes to this look. Stick to blacks and greys and you’ll be able to achieve a chic, effortless look just like Nurul’s.

If you like Nurul’s style and want to see more looks like this, make sure you check out ‘I Love Looking Good‘ for regular outfit posts and updates!
