Blogger Style: Eli From ‘Thrift Eye’
Today’s style crush is the gorgeous Eli from the fashion blog ‘Thrift Eye‘, which she started to document all of her thrift finds. It has since developed into a popular outfit blog with post after post of gorgeous looks that seem effortless and beautiful. Eli is originally from California, but now lives in Las Vegas. She also writes about people and places that inspire her as well as regular fashion posts.
I’ve chosen to recreate this look from this post on Eli’s blog, as I love the mix of the sumptuous purple and cream with a funky headscarf and trainer inspired boots. This look is so ladylike yet really laid back and easy going at the same time.
Eli wears a vintage headscarf, a dress by Thakoon for Target, boots by Paul Green, and carries a clutch by Felix Rey for Target.
To create this look, go for a two toned dress like Eli’s, in purple and cream. If you can’t get one of these, then just opt for a skirt and tuck in a silky blouse with feminine details for the same effect. Team these with some plimsoll inspired heeled boots with lace up fastening to add a casual twist to the outfit. Tie a colourful head scarf in your hair and wear with a chic and sophisticated up do. Carry a statement box clutch to complete the look, and you’ll be ready for any occasion!
If you like  the lovely Eli’s style and want to see more looks like this one, then be sure to check out her blog, ‘Thrift Eye‘ for regular outfits and outings with a vintage twist.
