Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton has certainly gone above and beyond for the fashion industry, earning her an OBE in Her Majesty’s birthday honours list for ‘services to fashion’.

While her husband Prince William was away on duty, Kate Middleton spent her Valentine’s day in Liverpool, visiting dry bar, The Brink Trade Co. as well as Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as part of her Royal duties. The Duchess wore a demure brown ‘Celeste’ coat from British designer Hobbs which she purchased for over £300 back in September 2011.
