While all eyes were on Kate Middleton and Her Majesty The Queen during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie cut a rather designer shadow over their fashion rivals.

While Kate Middleton opted once again for Alexander McQueen and the Queen for Angela Kelly during The Service of Thanksgiving, the two princesses went for something a bit more daring.

Princess Beatrice, known for wearing that hat during the Royal Wedding, appeared at the service in a perfect Spring blue and white striped coat dress by designer Kinder Aggugini.

She accessorised with Kurt Geiger ‘Elliot’ heels, Lemaresca bag clutch bag and a safe but stylish Stephen Jones hat covered in white tulle with a white floral accent.

Her sister Princess Eugenie opted for a contrasting purple Suzannah dress with Stephen Jones hat. She also opted for Kurt Geiger heels in a nude shade, not much unlike the ones worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. She also carried a Loro Piana clutch bag.

It is rumoured that the Princesses both have a new stylist since causing such a stir at the Royal Wedding. We think they look much better!
