Street Style: American Cool As Seen On Daniella
With Summer finally here, and the recent craze over top American TV show ‘Glee’, its no surprise that the High Street has taken inspiration from American College fashion. I spotted the gorgeous Daniella sporting campus cool, teaming her retro style patent bag and All Star Converse with a funky lace blazer and purple tunic dress. I love how she has made the look her own by adding feather earrings and some grungy studded bangles.
Daniella wear a blazer from New Look, a dress from Topshop, Converse from Schuh, and carries a bag by Primark.
To achieve this laid back look, team a long tunic vest with a funky blazer. Add some Converse or any similar canvas plimsole and a large sporty patent bag. The key is to keep it simple with bold block colours and add detail in the form of statement jewelry.
For a different take on the American Campus trend, take a block coloured camisole or body, and tuck into a pair of cut of denim shorts. Then take a men’s Collage Baseball style jacket for an oversize slouchy look, and go for some Converse hi-tops. Again, accessorise with some girly statement jewelry to make the look less masculine.
