Statement Leggings: Spring/Summer Style Trend 2010

Submitted by on Thursday, 25 March 2010 | One Comment

Leggings have been around for many years but this year they have been taken to a new level.  Retail stores are now bringing out statement leggings ranging from floral patterns and lace designs to make the classic leggings look more up-to-date.

Statement leggings were inspired by the late fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.  To complete the look, try wearing them with your highest pair of heels and a loose fitted cardigan.

If you’re more confident with colours, Topshop is the best place to find bright leggings in bright purples and reds.  You can also be more experimental and try them in a full length style or below the knee.

So with plenty of styles to choose from you’re bound to find a pair that suits you at a reasonable price.  Head on down to your favourite stores to see it with your own eyes.
