Casual Dresses

When you just don’t feel like putting a lot of effort into a daytime outfit you will usually just chuck on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but if you want to maintain that kick of style while still giving off a ‘just thrown together’ look then a casual dress is the way forward.

Asos have launched a whole range of funky, stylish, casual dresses that are perfect for wearing with tights on those slightly colder days and an oversized sun hat when the sun does finally decide to come out.

The Pocket Front Paneled Hem Dress, £28, is a gorgeous, girly dress that is perfect for wearing and relaxing in during the day.

It also comes in an array of colours including, Purple, Mink, Cream, Black, Washed Green and Coral! The dress would look great with accessories such as a chunky necklace and cute over the shoulder bag.

For the more daring amongst you, this Embroidered Woven Cut Out Dress, £55, still looks casual while looking stylish at the same time. As seen in the picture, it can be teamed with some gladiator sandals or even some flat pumps.

The New Look Skater Dress ,£16, has recieved mixed reviews from it’s customers but it is an extremely casual yet girly dress that is perfect for wearing during the day. It comes in many different colours but we would play it safe and buy the black version to wear with some cool accessories and some military style boots for a rockier edge.

The Cornelli Trim Tea Dress, £48, from Topshop is a little more luxurious than most day dresses but if you really want to splash out then why not? It comes in nude which is a huge colour this season and has some simple detail around the neckline, the floaty skirt gives it a more feminine twist and it will make you feel like you’ve been transported right back to the days of sitting in the park with a picnic.

Just because the sun isn’t out yet doesn’t mean we can’t dress like it is. Casual dresses can be worn as a summer or winter outfit depending on your shoes and accessories, a pair of wooly tights and a cardigan can do wonders.
