Everyone must have heard about poor Victoria Beckham and the terrible trouble she has been having with her feet recently. She has been suffering from uncomfortable and painful bunions due to constantly wearing high heels, but after previously claiming that she didn’t own a pair of flat shoes, Victoria was spotted giving her feet a well earned rest in a pair of black ballet pumps.

Everyone believes that wearing high heels instantly adds glamour to an outfit but while that may be the case, flat ballet pumps can give an outfit a touch of femininity as well as glamour, you just have to chose the right ones! As you can see from the picture above, Victoria’s outfit still looks mighty glamorous.

If you’re heading to a club but want to remain comfortable yet stylish then a pair of Vixen Chain Toe Cap Pumps, £25, from Topshop are the way to go. The design is very simple but the sparkly capped toe makes it perfect for nights out.

Also on offer are the rather fantastic Mercy2 Pearl Chain Flat Shoes, £30, from Topshop, which have some amazing detail around the ankles, no one is even going to be looking at your outfit when it’s all about the shoes!

Never one to be outdone in the shoe department, New Look have an amazing array of shoes on offer including these very simple but very girly Square Toe Flats, £12, which are similar to the ones Victoria Beckham has been spotted wearing. These ballet pumps have a small heel and a cute bow on the front, simple and easy and they can be dressed with a day outfit or an evening outfit.

If you want cute and girly ballet pumps to match your daytime outfits then Dorothy Perkins is the place to go, they have a great selection of pumps including the Grey Button Detail Pumps, £18, which have floral detail inside and simple button detailing outside.

Ballet pumps tend to be dug out of the closet when the weather starts to warm up a little but who said you can’t wear them in winter with a pair of funky tights? Thats exactly what Victoria is doing.

Why suffer the indignities of falling over your own heels while trying to get home from a night out when you can simply walk in comfort and style in a pair of ballet pumps? They are all over the highstreet already and there are so many different patterns and styles to chose from.
