Former First Lady of France has returned to modelling with a campaign for luxury, designer jeweller Bulgari.

Carla showed off her smouldering, Italian looks as she posed for famed photographer Terry Richardson in Rome. She plays the brand’s ‘Diva’. Carla says of the brand: “Bulgari is for me the symbol of passion and of this vivid and colourful Roman gaiety.”

The 45 year old wife to former French president Nicholas Sarkozy has enjoyed a successful modelling career, modelling for Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel when she was in her twenties.

The Bulgari brand has also recently had celebrity Rachel Weisz modelling for their Serpenti range, which features stunning wrap-around necklaces, bracelets and rings in elegant and dramatic pieces which really showcase the brands luxury style.

ASOS has a brilliant, extensive range of jewellery, and they didn’t fail in my search for slinky snake jewellery.

This silver ring features two intertwined snakes in a chunky design which would work casually or dressed up. An easy way to incorporate this style into your outfit would be to wear it with dressed down jeans and t-shirt with a leather biker jacket.

These gold, glamorous earrings are also from ASOS, and pack a bit more of a punch in the drama stakes. You need a lot of confidence to pull these off, but they are a statement piece sure to get noticed. They could easily be the focus of any outfit, especially with a little black dress and a slick of red lipstick for full on glamour.
