Kate Moss Launches New Fashion Tech Collection
Kate Moss is back in the designer’s chair and all set to collaborate with Carphone Warehouse to create a “fashion-tech” line.
Kate Moss has turned her fashionable hand to a technology focused accessories collection to be aimed at women. It will feature covers, cases and extras for tablets and smartphones, a market which hasn’t been explored to this level yet.
Kate spoke of her collection: “My phone’s as much a part of my look as my bag or shoes, and yet there’s so little choice out there. My whole approach was to treat this as any other fashion collaboration; I was heavily involved in the design process and loved seeing my vision come to life in the final product. From the quality of materials to the design, I wanted the best for my range that reflected my personal style.”
You will be able to get your hands on Kate’s accessories collection from Carphone Warehouse this summer. Transforming your boring old phone will be easier than ever, and with no less than global fashion icon Kate Moss’s input, the collection is sure to stand out. As something we carry around with us all day every day, our phones deserve a little star treatment too!
It seems whatever collaboration Kate Moss turns her hand to becomes an overnight sensation; we just can’t get enough of her rock and roll style. By far her most successful high street collaboration has been with fashion staple Topshop, who have been securing their position as top of the high street shops, and have even ventured over to America. Kate Moss worked with the shop for four years on fourteen of her own collections which she also modelled, creating a fierce fervour around the Topshop brand and making her personal style accessible.
Kate Moss infused her striking personal style in the seventies inspired cuts that were bought up to date with modern twists. The bohemian look that everyone wanted to emulate was suddenly made available, and who doesn’t want to look as effortlessly stylish as one of, if not the, biggest supermodel of all time? She is eponymous with British style and for a very good reason.
