Yes, it’s that time of year again fashion lovers! Fashion week is upon us, and to celebrate, American photographer and filmmaker Alex Prager has put together the ‘Icons of Style’ key visual for Autumn/Winter 2012 in an imaginative and surreal film featuring Lara Stone and the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster.

Stylishly inspired by the Wizard of Oz, Alex Prager has created a world in the Los Angeles desert which blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Supermodel Lara Stone appears as a modern day version of Dorothy, who is spirited away into another world by a tornado.

Is it just a coincidence that the supermodel has stopped here and is taking her cases from the boot of the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster? Or is she tempting fate and simply waiting with her cases packed to fly off into another world? Why not judge for yourself…
