Kate Middleton’s Style: Copy Her Alice Temperley Long Black Lace Dress

Submitted by on Friday, 9 November 2012 | No Comment

Kate Middleton can officially be called the Queen of classy lace as she stepped out yesterday wearing a floor length black lace gown by Alice Temperely.   Kate Middleton certainly loves her lace numbers.  She can be thanked for creating the trend for lace for bridal wedding dresses when she got married last year wearing her Alexander McQueen wedding dress.  She has been spotted on a number of occasions sporting the look again and this time round not only is she doing lace but she is recycling her dress again.

She turned up recently to her old university St. Andrews wearing a full length Alice Temperely lace dress.  However it isn’t the first time we have seen her wear this dress before.  She first debuted the dress back in September 2011 at the War Horse premiere in London. This time round instead of wearing a black clutch, Kate has accessorised it with a red Alexander McQueen clutch to compliment her red poppy to commemorate Remembrance day.

With Christmas just around the corner I am sure there will be quite a few of  us searching for that perfect dress.  I absolutely love the Kate black lace dress, unfortunately I don’t have £2900 of spare cash to splash, so like always I love trying to search for imitations for us bargain hunting fashionistas.  Here are a few I stumbled on…
