Kate Middleton Shops in Topshop
Kate Middleton is no stranger to the high-street shops of London. She’s made it extremely clear that she is a huge fan of high-street chains such as Reiss, LK Bennett and even Warehouse and now the stylish Duchess has pleased fashion fans around the world by giving her Royal seal of approval to one of the biggest chains around, Topshop.
Fashion fans have been unsure whether Kate would be a fan of Topshop or not, but it seems that Kate is just as much a fan as the rest of us. The newly-wed Royal spent her first public Topshop shopping spree in the High Street Kensington store, where she browsed the rails and even queued up for the changing rooms patiently.
Kate picked out a few items from the store including a Polka Dot Pencil Skirt, £38, which has since sold out, and a very regal looking Cobalt Velvet Trim Boucle Jacket, £65. She also picked up a pair of £8 earrings but decided against them at the last minute.
Blogger and Kate Middleton fan, ‘Ashlin’ of GetWhatKateWore.com was lucky enough to be in the very store with Kate Middleton and describes the experience on her website. She even exclusively revealed that Kate is a lover of rewards and points cards, saying:
“I can tell you exactly what she was wearing and exactly what she bought. I even saw her silver visa card she used. I also saw all her rewards cards (i.e. points cards) she carries, as she had to sift through them to find her visa card. Can you believe the future Queen of England carries a huge handful of rewards cards? I love you Kate for being so normal!”
