Lady Gaga appears in head to toe Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth outfit
A single houndstooth coat is enough panache for most people when it comes to the fashion stakes, but of course that is nowhere near enough for Lady Gaga, the Queen of all things fashionably gob-smacking.
The ‘Judas’ singer was recently spotted going Gaga for the houndstooth print when she wore a head to toe Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2010 houndstooth print outfit when she appeared as guest host on The View on Monday night. The slightly over the top outfit included a silk houndstooth print dress with matching hat, heels, clutch bag, nail polish and…sunglasses. Yes, you heard right, the Queen of kooky fashion went so far as to wear the print on her sunglasses which quite possibly made it very difficult for her to see. She even sported a similar tattoo style print down her left leg and on the left side of her face and as if that wasn’t enough, her microphone, seat and piano were also coated in the pattern.
Appearing on The View, the popstar commented on the death of Soul/Jazz singer Amy Winehouse saying that she was so devastated upon hearing the news that she could not speak for 48 hours, even though she had never met the Brit singer in person. She described Amy as a ‘nice, kind woman’ and said that she felt the world and the media should have been kinder to her during her fame. She also revealed that she had battled with drugs much like Amy and only stopped once her father called her up on it.
