Beyoncé to bring House of Deréon range to the UK

After a stunning performance at this year’s Glastonbury festival and T in the Park, Beyoncé has been spotted in the UK a fair few times. She was pictured at popular London department store Selfridges, accompanied by her mother Tina Knowles, browsing the huge variety of shoes on offer and even treating themselves to a few pairs.

Now it has become clear that Beyoncé and her mother weren’t just in the store for a bit of retail therapy, but they were there to scope out the competition as it has been announced that the mother and daughter team are set to launch their House of Deréon range in the department store this September.

Beyoncé and her mother have been designing for the House of Deréon range since it’s launch in 2005 and the new collection consists of bright, bold colouring, exotic prints and silhouettes, inspired by the singers own personal style. A theme of ‘city jungle’can be seen through-out the range with leopard, snake and African rose prints. Prices will begin from £80 for a dress from the range.

Talking in a statement about the brand, Tina Knowles said: “Beyoncé and I are so proud of the line-up and we can’t wait to see the consumer’s response and how she makes it her own.”

The range is set to be a sell out after it hit stores this Autumn/Winter 2011. Selfridges is one of the most luxurious department stores in London and is the perfect place for the House of Deréon range which is all about luxury items. We can’t wait to see the full collection from one of our favourite singers and fashion icons.
