Spot the Clone: Sheer Maxi Skirts

When the weather can’t seem to make up it’s mind and you’re not sure whether to get your legs out or not, the sheer maxi skirt is the perfect go to wardrobe staple. The skirt allows you to get your legs out of uncomfortable jeans but still keep them covered up if there’s a bit of a breeze.

It’s a great take on the original maxi and it has given it a great twist. The sheer fabric gives it a more feminine feel and keeps you covered up if you’re a bit self concious. The skirts can be worn casually with wedges or flat sandals and a cute top or they can be dressed up with some gorgeous heels, a clutch bag and party top.

We’ve picked two gorgeous sheer maxi skirts for today’s Spot the Clone feature, but can you guess which one is high street and which one is designer?

Which one is designer and which one is highstreet?

Did you guess correctly? One of these skirts is just $80 while the other is $1,100.

A
Givenchy Maxi Skirt
$1,000

B
Topshop Sheer Maxi Skirt
$80

While the Givenchy skirt, with it’s zip detailing, is rather lovely, we much prefer Topshop’s more cheaper version. We can envisage ourselves wearing it with a cool crop top and sun hat during the lovely Summer days.
