Beyonce Spotted at Glastonbury in Alexandre Vauthier Couture: Get Her Look!
Last night, Beyonce Knowles cemented her position as one of the biggest female role models of the 21st century. She also became the very first female to headline the Pyramid stage as the prestigious Glastonbury festival which took place over the weekend of June 24th, 25th and 26th.
While legendary bands U2 and Coldplay headlined the first two nights of the festival, it was Beyonce that really caused a stir. Traditionally Glastonbury has always been about bands who play instruments, performing live on stage but over the past few years the festival organisers have opted for putting more rap and R ‘n’ B artists on stage. Last year, Beyonce’s husband, Jay-Z headlined the festival which went down extremely well and Beyonce seems to have followed in his footsteps.
Although many were cautious about having Beyonce headlining the final evening, she certainly proved that she had just as much right to be up there as anyone else did. She tore up the stage with renditions of her biggest hits including ‘Crazy in Love,’ ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Naughty Girl.’
Rumours were flying around the site that she would rejoin with her Destiny’s Child co-members but unfortunately that wasn’t the case on the night. She did however, perform a medley of Destiny’s Child songs including ‘Survivor’ and ‘Independent Women.’
As if performing in front of over 100,000 people wasn’t scary enough, the singer did it wearing nothing more than a jacket and a pair of hotpant style knickers. Of course, the jacket wasn’t just any jacket but an Alexandre Vauthier Couture jacket which she teamed with a gold buckle waist belt, sparkling black ankle boots and silver drop earrings.
