Magnum ice-creams are the most popular, luxury brand of ice-cream that people all over the world turn to when the weather is scorching down. The lovely cold ice-cream mixed with the gorgeous chocolate is a match made in heaven, so when we heard that Chanel head-honcho, Karl Lagerfeld, had designed a room full of chocolate for the ice-cream brand, we couldn’t wait to see it or should that be eat it?

The head designer and creative director for luxury fashion brand, Chanel, has tried his hand at designing a number of different products. He recently made drinking Diet Coke much more stylish after designing a collection of Limited Edition Diet Coke bottles as part of the ‘Love It Light’ campaign and now the bespoke designer has teamed up with luxury ice-cream brand Magnum.

As part of the ‘Magnum Chocolate Experience’ event which took place in Paris, Lagerfeld has designed a ‘chocolate room’ as part of his new collaboration with Magnum. The ‘Magnum Chocolate Suite’ has every style of Magnum ice-cream and chocolate on offer as well as a chocolate model, lying on a chocolate bed, eating a Magnum ice-cream. Designed by Lagerfeld, the model has an uncanny resemblance to the designer’s muse, Baptiste Giacobini.

Talking about the collaboration, Mick van Ettinger VP Brand Development of Magnum, said: “Look at Karl Lagerfeld, known for his creativity, known for his beautiful designs. We thought that actually it was quite an easy mix.”
