Street Style: Rock The Maxi Dress Like Brogan
Summer may already be drawing to a close, but don’t pack those maxi dresses away just yet! Even when there’s a bit of a chill in the air, a mxi dress can be styled up to keep off the cold. Brogan shows us how to cover up, but still look cool, just by adding a funky  bleach denim jacket to her look. The maxi dress is set to be a big trend throughout Autumn and Winter, and is such an easy to wear, versatile item to own, so here I’ll show you some ways of wearing them when the weather goes a bit down hill!
To recreate Brogan’s look, you will need a full length maxi dress with a bold, geometric print, such as this striped number she has opted for. Add on a bleach denim jacket for warmth, and team with some open toe sandals or flip flops. Accessorise with a big slouchy tan bag and keep jewellery to a minimum for an easy, casual every day look.
For colder days, go for a maxi with longer sleeves, like this Topshop one. Throw on a chunky knit cardigan for an extra layer, and team with brogues and tights for a twist. Add a vintage style silk scarf for interest in Autumnal colours, and you should be well wrapped up for the English weather!
This look also works really well with ankle boots or chunky lace up worker boots for an edgier feel.
