The Happy Couple

Who will design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress?  That’s got to be one of the most recurring questions asked ever since we heard news of the Prince and his long term girlfriend’s engagement.

In just 11 days, all speculation had will finally be answered, as Prince William and Kate Middleton marry at Westminster Abbey on Friday April 29th.  Think you can contain yourselves that little bit longer to see what the Princess to be will wear down the aisle?

Now with just over a week to go until the big day, it’s being said that Kate has designed the dress herself.  Of course a bride to be wants a great amount of involvement and input when it comes to her wedding dress, but Miss Middleton is rumoured to have even sketched the gown herself, relying heavily on the Renaissance era for inspiration.

Think detail, ivory, satin, lace, a 10 foot train; much like a tribute to the wedding dress the late Princess Diana wore on her special day to Prince Charles nearly 30 years ago.

Sounds beautiful and with the added touches of borrowed jewellery from the Queen and other pieces from her nearest and dearest, the 29th day of April is definitely set to be one to remember.
