Dr.Martens release SS 11 Collection

Dr. Martens has always been an iconic British footwear brand, and you wouldn’t see a 1970′s skinhead or a 1980′s punk without a pair of colourful, bulky Dr.Martens shoes on their feet. The company have been working away behind the scenes to launch the next level of their brand…a clothing collection for Spring/Summer 2011.

The range is for men and women and prices will range from £30-£70. The collection and will be available in the UK at Dr. Martens retail stores as well as online at Drmartens.com. The collection will also be available across the pond in the US and even in Asia from April 2011.

For those with a quirky, alternative sense of style, this range is strictly for you. Men can expect a variety of shirts including an Oxblood and a Blue Chambray Workwear Shirt, a Navy open-weave, double faced large Gingham Check Button Down Shirt and a Red, Navy & Ecru Madras Check Button Down Shirt. As well as shirts, buyers will be able to get their hands on a loopback Indigo Sweatshirt, indigo Print T-Shirt and Indigo/Grey Marl combination Stripe T-Shirt.

Women can dress themselves in a variety of shirtdresses consisting of an Oxblood and a Blue Chambray Shirtdress, and longline versions of both the men’s Navy Gingham Button Down Shirt, and the Red, Navy & Ecru Madras Check Button Down Shirt. The collection also features a Grey Marl Sweatdress with cap sleeves, an Indigo Print T-Shirt with rolled cap sleeves, a Grey Marl Pocket T-shirt Dress and Indigo/Grey Marl combination Stripe T-shirt Dress.

The collection incorporates everything that Dr Martens is about and there is something to please even the pickiest of fashion lovers.
