Today’s installment of ‘Blogger Style’ features the lovely Olivia, writer of the blog ‘My New Favourite Thing‘. Olivia writes about all things fashion, including outfits, days out, trends and style tips. She has a knack of  mixing high street with designer to create some great outfits.

She has challenged me to recreate one of her most recent looks, from this post, where she channels the current colour blocking trend. I love the bravery of this look, as colour blocking can be difficult to pull. However, Olivia mixes hot pink and pillar box red effortlessly. This simple yet bold look is finished off perfectly with an oversized clutch and statement leopard print heels.

Olivia wears a pink blazer by Silence & Noise, red trousers by Zara, a t shirt by COS, Shoes by River Island and carries a Mogil clutch bag.

To recreate Olivia’s striking look, start off with a crisp white t shirt and tuck into some red skinny or straight fit jeans or trousers. Add on a boyfriend style blazer in a hot pink shade, and accessorise with a clutch bag in similar colours. Add on a pair of animal print heels for a clash of colours and keep jewellery to a minimum to keep the look fuss free, chic and simple.
