Blogger Style: Laura From ‘That’s So Yesterday’
The gorgeous Laura is our Blogger Style crush at the moment in this vintage inspired Topshop ensemble. This lovely lady writes a fashion and beauty blog called ‘That’s So Yesterday‘ that is jam packed with outfits, shopping and makeup tips.
This outfit caught my eye straight away, purely because of how striking the skirt is. Leather skirts are so difficult to pull off, but Laura does it effortlessly, teaming it with a mix of feminine and grungey accessories. I love how the floaty chiffon blouse breaks the look up, and adds more of a romantic feel to the whole look, without being too girly. This is such a perfect outfit for this season. Everything from the colours right down to the boots and accessories is on trend.
This look came from THIS post on Laura’s blog, where she tried on some of her favourite picks from the Topshop Autumn/Winter collection. This was definitely the stand out look from them all for me!
To recreate this look, you will need a statement leather skirt. I love the mustard tan shade of the one Laura has found, but if you have difficulty finding one similar, go for a beige tone. Team this with a chiffon, romantic blouse in cream. The more ruffles, the better! Add on some thick opaque tights and comfy black ankle boots to make the outfit more casual, and accessorise with black rosary beads and plenty of studded cuffs. I love how Laura wears her knitted hat with this look, so why not opt for a chunky knitted beanie or beret to finish the outfit off?!
