Christina Ricci clocks up fashion hit at MTV Movie Awards
Aside from the Oscars, the MTV Movie Awards are quite possibly one of the most popular and prestigious celebrations of film in the world.
A flurry of A-listers made their way down the ‘red’ carpet, dressed head-to-toe in some of the biggest designer outfits but it was Christina Ricci who really got people talking.
The actress initially appeared in a classic LBD, however there was a slight twist to the outfit.
Ricci appeared on the ‘red’ carpet in a Christian Siriano creation complete with crystal, bead and button detailing, but there was one piece of detailing that surprised many at the ceremony…the dress was also covered in timex watches…
The classic LBD made from silk taffeta came complete with 25 different watch faces adorning the shoulder of the dress.
Talking to PEOPLE, the designer said: “We wanted to make it feel very delicate and vintage inspired, and Christina wanted it to feel almost like an antique piece of jewelry.”
