Kate Middleton’s Christmas day style

Christmas is a busy time for the Royal family and having wed Prince William earlier in the year, 2011 saw Kate Middleton join the Royal family for her very first Christmas at Sandringham. Of course, any public appearance she made meant that all eyes would be on her and what she was wearing. The Duchess had already revealed that she would change five times during the Christmas celebrations, but unfortunately it hasn’t been revealed exactly what she was wearing on the big day.

We were however, treated to a Royal appearance as she made her way to the morning church service. Attending St. Mary’s, Kate was seen wearing a festive Aubergine coloured coat made by an independent British designer, who is yet to be named. Kate’s coat looked gorgeous against her dark locks and she cleverly paired it with a felt hat designed by Jane Corbett, especially for the Christmas day celebrations.

Kate’s black suede heels were made upon request by Spanish designer Jaime Mascaró and her Kiki McDonough drop earrings are said to be a special present from her new Husband, celebrating their very first Christmas together as husband and wife. Worth £1900, the 18ct gold and diamond earrings have already sold out thanks to the ‘Kate effect’.
