80’s Hit Movie Footloose Makes a Comeback!
Not only do I love the 80’s for it’s fashion…not to mention the decade I was born but also for bringing out films such as Dirty Dancing and Footloose. For those of you who are too young to remember, Footloose was released in 1984, when a city boy comes to a small town where rock and dance has been banned and his rebellious nature helps to bring some spark into the town with his dancing.
Well, with it being such as hit in the 80s, ‘Footloose’ is making a comeback with a more modern twist on the film. Now I am little sceptical when it comes to remakes as nothing can beat the original however I reserves my judgement on this one. If it has the same powerful music soundtrack and some dance moves I can move to as the 80’s Footloose film then it will definitely be a winner in my eyes.
The trailer below, gives us a sneaky taster into what the Footloose remake has in store for us. A lot of drama, romance, music and of course the dancing. It certainly looks like a a must have chick flick for next month:
I know there will be definitely a few critics out there, thinking the remake will be flop, however looking at the trailer it certainly shows that the film is a lot more than banning people from dancing but how fortunate we are to express ourselves whether it be through popular culture or even our fashion.
