It would seem our predictions were right!  Back in June we reported that this summer could be the return of Agyness after it was announced that Agyness Deyn would be rejoining her old modelling agency Select Management.  Well at the peak of the summer, Agyness is certainly getting back into the swing of things again as her modelling comeback shows her recently modelling for Dr. Martens’ ‘First and Forever’ advertising campaign.

In the campaign, Agyness models alongside male model Ash Stymest set in what appears to look a scene from the 80s. The nostalgic setting is perfect for what the ‘First and Forever’ advertising campaign is trying to promote which is inviting people to share their first experiences of doing something new – be it discovering a crush, going to a gig for the first time, or, the moment they bought their first pair of ‘DM’s’.

Over the past two years we have seen very little of ‘Agy’ after she decided to take a break from modelling, however it would appear that her campaign for Dr. Martens is a perfect introduction back into the scenes of modelling for Agyness. We for one are glad Agyness is back as we love her quirky style. Not only this but she is lady that scrapped the girly and prefect trend which we saw and introduced the idea that wearing an eclectic mix of bowler hats, braces and Dr. Martens was cool.

Back in 2010 when Agyness hit the modelling scene, many in the fashion world said she would be the next style icon. As she is back again, will we be see the revival of the androgynous-esk fashion which is so popularly known for or has Agyness miss the boat as a style icon?
