Christina Hendricks is the new face of Vivienne Westwood’s jewellery collection

At the beginning of February, we brought you the news that designer Vivienne Westwood was to launch a brand new jewellery collection and now it has been revealed that ‘Mad Men’ star, Christina Hendricks, has been announced as the new face of the ‘Get a Life’ palladium range.

The flame haired beauty recently commented on her new collaboration with the punk fashion designer, saying:

“She is my favourite designer. As a young girl I would cut out pictures of her dresses from magazines, although I was never able to afford them. Even now I only have one in my closet. It was a great honour for me to be asked to represent the ‘Get a Life’ palladium jewellery collection. I admire that Vivienne uses her designs to inspire change and the pieces are just so wonderful. The pieces really sparkle under the lights and I cannot wait to wear them on the red carpet.”

The pieces are inspired by nature and pagan symbols representing strength, luck, power and hope and is a collaboration between Westwood and Palladium Alliance. The range will then be sold in Vivienne Westwood boutiques in London.
