The Royal Wedding: Kate Middleton Does Her Own Make Up!
Wondering how Kate achieved her radiant wedding day make up? You may be shocked to know that no celebrity Make Up Artists were behind the glowing skin and peachy cheeks, but only Kate herself! After reportedly taking several make up lessons with wedding and fashion Make Up Artist Arabella Preston, Kate opted to take a ‘DIY’ approach, and it seems to have paid off!
Kate’s look was natural and chic, just like herself, with a simple base and glowing peach toned blush. Delicately smoked eyes and nude lips add the the perfectly feminine wedding look.
To recreate Kate’s bridal make up look, start off with a light base such as a sheer tinted moisturiser, then create a glow with a thin sweep of a peach tones blush on the apples of the cheeks. Add a delicate touch of bronzer to the cheekbones and brow bones for a subtle warmth, and gently apply a small amount of kohl to the lash line. Smudge the kohl to create a lightly smoked eye, and define the lashes with a slick of mascara. Finish the look off with a peach toned nude lipstick, and you can look like a princess too!
