Rapper Snoop Dogg creates sneakers with Adidas

Calling all rap, basketball and sneaker fans out there; long time rapper, entertainer and family man Snoop Doggy Dogg has teamed up with sports label Adidas to present to you his signature trainers.
Named the ‘Adidas Originals x Snoop Dogg for All-Star Weekend’, the new project will be launching next month and the trainers will be available for an affordable $90 (£56).
In keeping with his love for the LA Lakers Basketball team whilst also adding a touch of his Doggy Style to the kicks, the associated colours of purple and yellow adorn the footwear with an image of his infamous eyes covering the tongue of the kick.
Fans of the rapper will remember the image of these eyes from his 1993 album release Doggystyle. Picture this personal touch, a material of black leather, completed with gold and purple detail and there you will have it; a Snoop Dogg special.

A sneak peak of Snoop’s first hand at designing can be seen in his music video for ‘Purp and Yellow’; fitting name don’t you think? Being such a dedicated Lakers fan it only seems right he pay homage to the team and players via an item of clothing they frequently wear in their careers.
