After it was announced that Marchesa were to be designing a budget friendly wedding gown collection for an American bridal house, the fashion house has also released their new designs for the iconic Playboy Bunny outfit.

The costume, which has been designed to celebrate the launch of a new Playboy Club in London, was created by Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman and includes black lace and crystal embellished corset in homage to the original Playboy Bunny. The one-off designer costume will officially be launched on Thursday 26th May and is then set to be auctioned off to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness before the new club opens in June this year.

In a recent statement, Georgina Chapman commented on the new design, saying that the Bunny costume is “one of fashion and pop culture’s most iconic emblems.” “We’ve taken our inspiration from the original costume but added Marchesa’s signature details. The result is a modern, yet feminine interpretation of this legendary look. Marchesa is thrilled to be a part of the Playboy London Club launch, and for the opportunity to design a one off Playboy Bunny costume – one of fashion and pop culture’s most iconic emblems, in celebration of the return of this club.”
