Blogger Style: Martin From ‘Dandy Fantastic’
For the first time in our Blogger Style series here on StyleClone, I’m featuring a male fashion blogger, and showing all the men out there how to achieve his style. This will become a common occurrence from now on, with this feature and the Street Style series also. Men can be just as image conscious as women and there are some really great outfits out there that I think should be celebrated!
Let me introduce you to Martin, writer of ‘Dandy Fantastic’, whose blurb reads “Gin enthusiast with a penchant for the eccentric, a fondness for afternoon tea and an unhealthy obsession with obscure facial hair. My blog is just a melting pot of musings on style, life and any random titbits that may meander through my mind”.
Martin has a really distinguished look which I love, mainly because I like people who aren’t afraid to be different in the way they dress. His blog ‘Dandy Fantastic‘ mirrors his style perfectly and he posts about everything from his personal work to what or who inspires him.
This is the outfit I will be recreating for you today. I love the use of an autumnal colour palette of browns and mauve purples, and the attention to detail such as the handkerchief in the pocket and the vertical collar.
To create a look like this one, you will need a jacket similar to Martin’s. Think tweeds and wools. Team this with some brown trousers – the bigger the better! Now for the purple – Go for a simple t shirt and brogues or loafers in the same shade. Accessorise with a leather belt, oversized bag and handkerchief in other purple tones to finish the look off.
