Black Eyed Peas Plan Movie with Avatar’s James Cameron

US band The Black Eyed Peas are set to produce a 3D tour documentary with the high acclaimed Avatar director, James Cameron.

One quartet of the group, Will.i.am revealed to Vibe magazine that the film is due to be filmed in South America and will be released for all to see some time next year.  “People will be able to see us in the theatre with the 3D glasses and everything”, he said.

Will.i.am will be joined by group members Fergie, apl.de.ap and Taboo on the big screen, where fans of both the group and Cameron will be able to view footage of the band in action, donning their unique costumes, setting trends and following a storyline that is being devised by Cameron himself. The appearance of Cameron’s characters in the movie became a craze worldwide, with apps becoming available to transform yourself into one of the blue creatures starred.

Between them, The Black Eyed Peas and James Cameron have achieved notification as being the only artists to sell a million downloaded singles in the UK with the hit ‘I Gotta Feeling’, being the inspiration behind funk and hip hop styled outfits and producing the fastest selling film ever to to reach approx. £625 million in ticket sales in form of the movie Avatar.

Will.i.am continued: “We have the biggest director because we are the biggest group on the planet”. Something tells me this documentary is going to be a hit!
