Lacoste Autumn/Winter 2013 Campaign – Unconventional Iceland
Lacoste have showcased their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection ‘Unconventional Iceland’ with a dramatised viral video, featuring the models living in the rural and incredibly beautiful Icelandic landscape.
The dramatic slate coloured rock faces against the brilliant white snow, the crashing of the waves and glistening ice: it’s Iceland like you’ve never seen it before. Unconventional Iceland. It’s a visually stunning campaign for a quirky and directional autumn/winter collection from Lacoste.
The collection features core tones of navy blue and a deep berry red, perfect colours for the crisp, autumnal season, with an eclectic mix of prints (stripes, to snake and floral…). Add some classic chino’s, duffel coats and varsity jackets and you have a grown-up but street-wise collection.
Here at StyleClone we have hand picked our favourite pieces from the collection and styled them just for you. Check out the whole collection at the Lacoste website.
This coat is the perfect staple piece to carry you through to winter, with the zip details on the sleeves and toggles to fasten adding a finishing touch. Wear with a bold checked shirt and pastel pink corduroy skirt for colour and texture contract. Add thick tights and these lace up shoes to finish the look.
For a casual look wear this patterned, paint splattered effect denim shirt with these maroon cord skinny trousers and grey lace-up suede trainers. The flat-form on these shoes especially stands out. Add a clashing patterned beanie to keep the cold off your head, in-keeping with the colour of the trousers.
This look plays on the quirky mix of prints in the collection. This abstract dotty print skirt teamed with the snake print detail on the collar of the navy polo is a cute, preppy take on clashing. Add this on-trend varsity style bomber jacket in maroon with navy sleeves to bring this look up to date and keep you cosy in style. Wear this outfit with thick knitted tights and these lace up casual trainers for a look perfect for running around town in.
