Wimbledon 2013 Final: Which Celebrity Won the Best Dressed Trophy?
The Wimbledon final saw a Brit lifting the trophy, but who wins the trophy for best dressed?
This weekend saw a Brit finally securing the Wimbledon title in style while the nation stood proudly behind him, manically cheering their heads off. The sun shone, strawberries were nibbled and Pimms was sipped as celebrities turned out in support, naturally turning the sporting event into another chance to dress up and out-do each other. Which means another chance to pick our favourites!
5. Victoria Beckham
Victoria looked her usual calm and collected self in a very sophisticated black dress with lace edging around the hem and low neckline. It showcased her slim figure and tan perfectly, but she did look a little dour amongst the summery hues. She did wear her signature oversized sunglasses and teamed with a casual up do, this helped her look a little more relaxed. A very sleek and stylish outfit.
4. Bradley Cooper
Now, who couldn’t help but notice this dapper man amongst the Wimbledon crowd. In a light grey suit he stood out from all the usual black jackets and looked very smart indeed, with black shiny shoes, a light blue shirt and a striped tie to top it all off. He must have been hot in the glaring sunshine, but he sure knows how to pull an outfit together.
3. Pippa Middleton
Pippa Middleton has become a Wimbledon staple, showcasing her preppy style in previous years and not disappointing this year round. To the final she wore a perfectly summery red dress with beige, black and white stripes, erring between pretty and smart. The dress fell demurely to just above the knee, making her look every inch the English rose. To compliment her outfit she carried a smart red tote bag and wore nude wedges with chic sunglasses and a chunky gold watch.
2. Suki Waterhouse
Model and actress Suki Waterhouse arrived at Wimbledon with current beau Bradley Cooper. She added a little quirkiness to the occasion, channeling a Clemence Posey style. She wore a beige trench coat with interesting corsage detail. A minty blue button through dress peeked out from underneath, looking fresh and classy in the summer sunshine.
1. Gerard Butler
Well, we had to have a Scot top the list didn’t we? Gerard lifts the Wimbledon style trophy for his teaming of his blue jacket, navy tie and white shirt with some dazzling tennis-white tailored trousers. Instead of going with the crowd with a matching suit, Gerard looked crisp and confident in his eye-catching ensemble. It’s a good job it wasn’t the women’s final, or they might have been a little distracted…
