High street retailer Peacocks has always been a cheap and cheerful place to shop, but now they are upping their game in the fashion stakes and have produced a work appropriate wardrobe for customers, for less than £20 a day.

The collection offers professionals classic work wear at a budget price and with it being the new year, now is the perfect time to overhaul your wardrobe and update your work attire. The ‘Working Chic’ collection offers a different outfit for each day of the working week.

Work wear is no longer all about boring suits and shoulder pads, this gorgeous collection includes a classic black pencil skirt, £10, monochrome shift dress £18, pussy bow chiffon blouse £15, leopard print baby doll dress £16, and skinny indigo jeans £10 for those opting to dress down on a Friday.

There is really no excuse for you to feel down and drab about what you’re wearing to work. Each piece oozes sophistication and they can all be mixed and matched to create new looks.

This budget friendly collection is based on an average 40 hour week and it works out at just £2.35 per hour. Jane Hotz, Peacocks’ Womenswear Buying Director said: “After December’s festivities, January is often a month where budgets are tighter than usual. We wanted to offer customers returning to work in the New Year, the chance to update their look with a quality capsule wardrobe offering the latest fashion looks at great value.”

The collection is available in Peacocks’ stores and online.

Hope you dont mind I linked to this article on my own blog – I did a post on workwear on Oasis and Warehouse and felt bad as some of the prices weren’t practical. I thought this was really good I dont tend to shop in Peacocks but the items dont look bad at all and are great prices.
