It seems that Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie is taking a leaf out of Kate Middleton’s fashion book and has been spotted shopping on the British high-street.

Angelina and her brood have been in the UK for a little while now and have been spotted out and about. On Thursday she spent the afternoon with her children on popular London shopping spot, the Kings Road, where Kate Middleton herself has also been spotted.

Dressed in a casual grey v-neck jumper, black jeans, boots and oversized sunglasses and accompanied by a bodyguard and personal assistant, the actress was drawn into high-street store French Connection where she managed to rack up a £1,300 bill in under 20 minutes.

Angelina was quite taken by the brand’s Classics Collection and purchased a few pieces from the range including an Autumn Silk Vest in ‘Oak Tree’ at £42, basic white top at a staggering £67 and a Featherweight Flannel Skirt at £72. She also picked up two pendant necklaces at £35.

Daughter Zahara was lucky enough to come away with a £120 present in the form of the Faux Fur Jacket.

It’s not every day that such a celebrity pops into your store, so while the Hollywood beauty was doing her shopping, French Connection managed to tweet to let everyone know their good news, saying: “Angelina Jolie and her brood doing some major damage at our Kings Road store in London…does it get any better than this?! I think not…”

A customer who was in the store at the time revealed that Angelina stopped to sign autographs for fans and refused help with her bags, joking that she had staff to do it for her.
