Grace Coddington to release her memoirs

As Anna Wintour’s right hand woman, Grace Coddington is bound to have some great tales to write about in her up coming memoirs. It has just been announced that the American Vogue creative director is set to document her life in a brand new book which is set to bring her a seven figure sum.

In her 70 years, British born Grace has packed and unbelievable amount into her life and we can’t wait to read all about it in her upcoming book. Grace started her career in the sixties as a model but after a terrible car accident, Grace went on to become a Junior Editor at British Vogue after an interview by Beatrix Miller. After 19 years at the magazine Grace moved to the US to work for Calvin Klein and joined American Vogue in 1988 where she remains to this day. She has been working for the worlds biggest fashion magazine for 40 years now and even appeared in the fly on the wall documentary film ‘The September Issue’. Although Grace was reluctant to be filmed for the project, she turned out to be quite the star, even overshadowing the frosty Editor in Chief Anna Wintour.

Grace is set to work with Vogue writer Michael Roberts on the $1.2 million book deal and it has apparently been kept in the pipeline since 2010! We can’t wait to hear what Grace has to say and hopefully we’ll get some juicy details on what goes on behind the scenes at Vogue magazine!
