During a visit to Charlottetown on July 4th, Kate Middleton looked distinctly casual even though she was wearing one of the world’s biggest designer’s outfit.

On the fifth day of the Royal tour of Canada, Kate pulled a glamorous McQueen look out of the bag. She opted for a cream cable knitted dress with nautical blue piping detail and neck-tie. She finally wore her long brown locks in a casual pony-tail and again wore the sapphire earrings that match her engagement ring as well as a thin silver bracelet. She finished off the outfit with a pair of blue Prada pumps.

The couple visit Prince Edward Island which Kate was openly very excited about as it is the setting of her favourite childhood book, Anne of Green Gables. To Kate’s delight, actors and actresses greeted the couple in full period drama costume.

While talking to crowds and well-wishers, Kate revealed that she often worries about William when he goes off to work, saying: “I always worry but my job is to support my husband. You should always support your husband. I worry when William goes on a mission. I find it very difficult. You always fear for them not knowing not knowing if something is going to happen and it can be very hard.”
