Let’s Move is a campaign run by Michelle Obama and she is set on encouraging young children to make healthier choices in their lives.  So the First Lady, Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles, worked together to design the black t-shirts for the project.

The custom-designed shirts – courtesy of Beyonce’s Dereon label – aren’t available for sale but they are the official outfits for everyone involved in the campaign, with the ‘Let’s Move’ logo.

This isn’t your average campaign either.  Michelle started this programme a year ago to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity.  This year, with the helping hand of Beyonce, children in over 600 schools worldwide took part in an instructed dance to her track, ‘Move Your Body’.

Many kids enjoyed themselves and couldn’t help but move to the funky song.  Michelle joined a school in Washington D.C whilst Beyonce lead the dance at a middle school in Harlem, New York.

With the role of a t-shirt sponsor, the singer and actress is also the featured performer for the ‘Let’s Move! Flash Workout’.  Her track ‘Move Your Body’ is a remake of her hit ‘Get Me Bodied’ where the star is seen sporting various dance moves in the video.  It really is an addictive fitness-inspired dance routine.  Learn it here.
