Today’s Blogger Style post features Keri, a freelance costume designer and stylist living in New York, and writer of the blog ‘Heart Charlie‘. Her blog is based around her personal style and outfits, with a great mix of casual and smart looks. Keri’s profile reads ‘Bouncing between assisting other designers and heading up my own jobs, I am fascinated with all things sartorial and have an undying love for stripes.’

I have chosen a look from one of Keri’s recent posts, here. I’ve gone for this look because I love the mix of colours and how Keri has added her own personal touches such as the turned up sleeves and the knotted cardigan. I also really like the addition of wellies for a fashionable yet practical twist.

To recreate Keri’s look, go for a checked shirt in dark navy and green, and team this with a fine knit maroon cardigan. Roll the sleeves of the shirt up over the cardigan, and tie the bottom of the cardigan in a knot. Tuck the shirt into a pair of plum trousers and a tan belt. Finish the look off with some black wellies, for a funky, relaxed look.
