Model Lindsey Wixson was first discovered by none other than Donatella Versace and now she is set to rocket to super model status after being named as the new face of McQueen.

The Spring 2011 collection is the first to be designed without founder Lee McQueen, after he died almost a year ago. Lee’s assistant Sarah Burton stepped up to the position of Creative Director and this is the first campaign she has solely directed.

Although there won’t be any editorial Spring/Summer 2011 campaign, Wixson will appear on in-store images, billboards and on the fashion label’s website.

The butterfly sleeveless printed dress seen on Wixson has delicate scalloped edges and really stands out amongst the beauty of the butterflies. Wixson has previously fronted campaigns for Miu Miu, Versace and Mulberry, but this is the one that will launch her super model career and at just 16 years of age, she is set to do some amazing things!
