Valentino for GAP collection

Submitted by on Thursday, 25 November 2010 | No Comment

It’s slowly becoming a bit of a trend for high end fashion houses to team up with popular high street stores to bring their fashion genius together to create some amazing collections.

Now it’s the turn of the luxurious Valentino to join forces with GAP, to launch their high street collection, coinciding with GAP’s launch of their Milan flagship store this month.

The collection is strictly all about affordable womenswear, designed by the creative directors Maria Grazia Chiui and Pier Paolo Piccioli.

Instead of the fashion house designing their own collection and shoving it into GAP stores, the two companies have worked to mix the basic essentials of GAP’s clothing with the luxury and glamour of Valentino’s.

The seven piece collection will be available at Gap in London, as well as Dover Street Market and Colette in Paris on November 27th.
