Spring Trend 2010: T-shirts for Spring

Submitted by on Friday, 26 February 2010 | No Comment

Although you wouldn’t believe it, spring is slowly creeping upon us and the warm spring air means that cardigans and hoodies are no longer needed and you can be brave and wear t-shirts again, hooray!

Years ago you would have thrown on a t-shirt with the knowledge that you were about to play a game of tennis or rounders, but these days t-shirts can be quite the fashion statement. The original polo t-shirt is still the most popular, but it can now be teamed with skirts, shorts and peg trousers to create an almost preppy look.

A t-shirt with a funky pattern or picture on it can really make a casual outfit stand out, you don’t have to be a tom-boy to wear a t-shirt, just look at this feminine and girly pink spotted t-shirt!

T-shirts have even extended in length over the years to become t-shirt dresses. T-shirt dresses look great with a pair of leggings, the ‘X-Ray’ t-shirt below would look great paired with some wet look leggings and a denim jacket for a rockier look.

Or if you prefer the length to shorten, cropped t-shirts are massive at the moment, you might just need to wait for the warmer weather for this though!

The average t-shirt is quite figure hugging but like the length, the width of t-shirts has also developed to create some great, baggy t-shirts that still look fabulous.

Whatever the weather is, whatever your mood and whatever your look, there is a t-shirt that will work with it. There are just so many different cuts, designs, patterns and colours that it can sometimes be difficult to choose which is right, but you can never have too many t-shirts in your wardrobe.

You can buy a whole range of T-shirts for Men & Women at Republic!
