A sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is in the works

The Devil Wears Prada was one of the most fashionable films to hit our screens back in 2006 based on the real-life experiences of Lauren Weisberger, a former PA to Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Anne Hathaway did a tremendous job of portraying the leading role of Andrea, a clumsy, unfashionable aspiring Journalist who was very much out of her depth at one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world.

The film also featured the delightful British actress Emily Blunt, who has become a Hollywood A-lister, as well as the Devil in Prada herself Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly.

The fashion and the glamour is back again in the sequel movel. Titled ‘Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns,’ the sequel follows Andrea eight years after she quit working for the editor from hell as she is preparing to get married! But the question is, who to?

Fans of the Andrea and Emily love/hate relationship will be happy to know that they’re firmly BFF’s in this book and there will of course be some appearances from Miranda Priestly herself!

We are sure the sequel book will be turned into a film in no time and let’s hope the original actors and actresses sign up sharpish!

My only comment is a correction:

Helen Miren is brilliant, but Miranda Priestly was played by the incomparable Meryl Streep.
